The newest member of our Emergency veterinary team, Dr. Brandon Mattson, was born and raised in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. He attended Brigham Young University for undergraduate studies and spent two years doing missionary work in Paraguay, South America. Dr. Mattson received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and an MS in Preventive Medicine from Iowa State University in 2009 and completed a year-long internship at the University of Illinois in small animal emergency, internal medicine and surgical service.
Dr. Mattson and his family recently moved to Pennsylvania where they look forward to enjoying hiking, swimming and site-seeing the beautiful state parks in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
