Dr. Holden Jensen, VMD is an emergency veterinarian at Northeast Veterinary Referral Hospital in Plains.
Dr. Jensen grew up in sunny Southern California with pets including: turtles, rescued shelter cats, Golden Retrievers, fish, and hamsters.
She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley in Molecular and Environmental Biology. Shortly thereafter, she obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (VMD) from the University of Pennsylvania.
She then was accepted into a small animal rotating internship at the Center for Animal Referral and Emergency Services in Langhorne, Pennsylvania with a focus in emergency and critical care medicine and surgery.
Dr. Jensen’s passions include emergency and critical care medicine and fear free handling techniques.
Outside of the office she enjoys backpacking, travelling, gardening, cooking, and relaxing with her husband and two cats, Baker and Remi (AKA little chef). She is so excited to join the team at NVRH and continue helping animals in northeastern Pennsylvania.
