Prompt and honest service. They didn't claim our dog's issue was any more or less severe that it was. Payment can be difficult to discuss in the moment but they were upfront about what was being done and what possible procedures would cost, asking for our approval before moving forward. Our boy ended up only needing minor care but we'll be using their service again in the future if we need emergency care.

Dr. Jessica Sheruda, DVM is an emergency veterinarian at Northeast Veterinary Referral Hospital in Plains.
Dr Jessica Sheruda is a 2016 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania who joined our team in 2021. She previously worked at a mixed animal veterinarian as a busy hospital in central eastern PA. She enjoys the fast pace of emergency medicine and the diversity in which it brings. On her days off from the ER, she works as a relief veterinarian at a general practice and a local SPCA. She also has her own equine dentistry practice.
Outside of work, Jess enjoys working on her family’s 100 + head beef cattle farm in NEPA. She also enjoys spending time hiking, kayaking and gardening. She also loves spending time with her dogs Jaxson, Athena, Sophia, and Bristol and her cats Whiskey and Tango.
