Dr. Salem and the entire staff were very professional and thorough in caring for my very sick cat. My poor boy had to be euthanized and they couldn’t have been more caring. Thank God for them being there in our time of need.

Dr. Robert Ruane, DVM is an Emergency veterinarian at Northeast Veterinary Referral Hospital in Plains.
Dr. Ruane is a local hometown veterinarian who graduated from the University of Scranton with a BA in Biology in 2013, and received his DVM degree from VMRCVM in 2018.
Prior to completing veterinary school, Dr. Ruane has worked as a veterinary assistant and then as a veterinary technician for several years. His interests as a veterinarian include emergency care, primary care, ultrasonography and surgery. In his free time, Dr. Ruane enjoys spending time with his fur-children, sports, small project-building and outdoor activities such as hiking, running and more.
